Any system or process of the Sacred, Magick, Alchemy, or simple personal Orientation must begin with a proper Foundation, the Local and Regional Geography - both physical and psychic. The mapping above comes from The Great Work, and the rules of Magick — know the place of the matter, know what time it is, know thy self, and know the path. With these you have the proper foundation for taking the appropriate action towards achieving balance with Nature, and Unity of Consciousness.
What are these things to know regarding the place of the matter(?): the lay of the land and the flow of the water upon it, the Great Divide, the volcanoes, the fault lines, the axis of the globe and its directions, the magnetic field pole — these are the objective facts.
The subjective facts are the cultural facets of this sacred geometry: the pyramids, the legend of the (?) Templar land claim, the Masonic ley lines and sites, the Mound Builder Astronomy, Effigy Mounds and Rock Runs, the sacred mountains of the South West and Pacific North West cultures, the great circles and sacred Wheel of the Dakotas, the Sacred Hoops, the Modern energy centers, Secret Government Sites, Nuclear Weapons, the Bermuda Triangle, Skinwalker Ranch, the many lines that divide us.
This knowledge of our place on the Earth, and its meaning, must then be joined with a knowledge of our place in the Universe. This is the orientation of the Earth to the Sun, the planets, the Moon, and the Stars (the Zodiac and the Galactic Center); a great series of cycles that repeat, come into conjunction and opposition on a regular, and also a precessional cycle.
Over many thousands of years one can convey the time of an event by depicting the correct arrangement of the One (Sun), the Seven (planets), and the Twelve (zodiac) in relation to the physical location on the Earth.
With these two points of knowledge - the astronomical and the geographical orientations - one can appropriately carry out the desired action of the will - Magick.
I would also like to say that I feel one needs to recognize this land has had a name and that is Turtle Island. We must also recognize the treaty, familial, sacred, and stewardship rites held by the tribes and nations of this land.
And most important is to respect their sacred sites.
